Label Fabrics (Care Labels)

We supply the fabric for care labels sewn into garments. The Japanese taffeta range includes heavy wash, standard wash and colour-resistant; the satin range includes white gloss, white matt and black English satin; non-woven is also available.

Scope:
Heavy wash: withstands chemical washing and stonewashing, common in denim.
Standard wash: withstands 60°C, for everything except denim.
Colour-resistant: doesn’t pick up the garment’s colour in the wash and stays white.
Our heavy-wash product meets OEKO-TEX certification.

Labels

Coated, vellum, thermal, fasson, silver matt, tamper-evident and polypropylene labels. The right one depends on the surface, shelf life and outdoor conditions; we choose together.

Highlights:
Coated and vellum: indoor use, long shelf life, printed with ribbon.
Thermal: printing without ribbon, common in shipping.
Fasson, silver matt, tamper-evident and polypropylene: difficult surfaces and outdoors.

Ribbons

The ribbon does the printing on the label, and its type depends on the material. Ricoh D110A resin ribbon is in stock.

Ribbon Types:
Wax: on coated and vellum paper, for shipping and product labels.
Wax/resin: for synthetic materials, doesn’t pass the alcohol test.
Resin: textile and industrial, withstands up to 150°C.

Thermal Print Head Replacement

When a print head wears, print quality drops. Our technicians replace it on site so production isn’t disrupted.

Models:
Avery Dennison, Argox and Datamax.
Toshiba and Godex.
Replacement is done on site; no need to send the device in.
Result: The right material, a working printer, no stopped lines!

The Right Match for the Surface and Conditions

A label is chosen by the surface it sticks to and the conditions it faces. On a product that meets alcohol, wax ribbon rubs off but resin doesn’t; for a garment washed at 60°C a standard wash label is enough, but not for heavy washing. We agree the right match before you order.

Ribbon Types:
Label fabrics: Japanese taffeta, English satin, non-woven
Labels: coated, vellum, thermal, fasson, silver matt, tamper-evident
Ribbons: wax, wax/resin and resin

Why Labelworks Barcode?

A Supplier That Makes Your Job Easier

With barcode materials the real issue isn’t price but the right match: the label must stick, the print must survive washing and alcohol and the printer mustn’t stop mid-line. Because Labelworks supplies the label, ribbon and printer together, it can stand behind all three. Since 2005 we have served the textile, chemical, cosmetics, electronics, medical and courier sectors.
